I've been feeling really stupid the last few months as I've been working on various other, complicated games, and been entirely unable to make any substantial progress, so I've decided to start a simpler game. Right now, I'm imagining that you're a lonely drone who has been tasked with terraforming Mars and making it suitable for habitation. I'm still working on the gameplay loop, but here are some early captures from my work so far. I'm using Picotron to make it.
